Who’s ready for a day at the best water park in Texas? You won't want to miss the fun so make sure to register you and your friends! The cost of registration covers park admission, Dippin' Dots, snacks from Buc-ees, and Chili's for dinner! Send your child with debit card should they want to purchase any extra souvenirs or extra food/snacks at the park. If you are in Middle or High School, join us for a day of cooling off with your friends in the lazy river or sliding down one of the many slides! Next summer, we will partner with Praying Pelicans Mission and head to Belize, where PPM had its beginnings. Our mission will involve home repairs, hosting VBS, and organizing a sports camp for a partner church in Belize. Join us on our annual mission trip, where we will partner with God in the work He is doing in Belize.

This trip is open to all high school students who have completed at least one year of high school, including graduating seniors.

The Westlake Fire Department will lead the parade from the parking lot at Westlake Drive. The Parade Route will leave from the parking lot at Westlake Drive, Rocky River, and Reveille Rd. The parade concludes back in the parking lot.

Students will get the opportunity to gain new skills like working with power tools and tarring roofs (under adult supervision). This project is safe and done along side the empowering staff at Blueprint.

The Blanton is one of the foremost university art museums in the country and the largest and most comprehensive collection of art in Central Texas. The Blanton’s permanent collection is recognized for its European paintings, prints and drawings, and modern and contemporary American and Latin American art. Also available for viewing are Ellsworth Kelly’s Austin, a chapel-like environment of color, form, and light; several immersive art installations in the museum’s recently transformed outdoor plaza; and The Floating World, a temporary exhibition of Edo period Japanese prints and painted scrolls.

We will carpool from the WHPC upper parking lot. Plan to arrive at 9:30 a.m. for a 9:45 a.m. departure.

$10 lunch at WHPC upon our return - sandwiches, chips and ice cream sundaes.

Wendy has been attending WHPC for 12 years with her husband, Chris. She is a working mother of 3 tween thru college-aged children and has been involved with both children's and youth ministry teams at WHPC. Wendy will talk about her sometimes-imperfect lifelong journey as a Christian, and she will focus on caregiving and community. As she creates data analyses by trade, she will likely incorporate those as a part of her storytelling.
